Co-op Live boxing guide

The campus arena, not the city-centre one

ESPN reported Joshua Buatsi against Zach Parker at Co-op Live on 1 November 2025, which gives the venue a documented boxing record. That is a historical fact, not a signal of what comes next. Current plans must always be confirmed on official pages or from the promoter.

The arena is on the Etihad Campus in east Manchester, not at Manchester Victoria. That separation is crucial because Manchester has two major arenas used for boxing. Search results that say Manchester Arena or Co-op Live Arena can look similar, so check the venue name on every listing and every ticket.

Sport City Way and the Bee Network

The official address is on Sport City Way at the Etihad Campus. Follow the arena’s getting-here guide and the Bee Network’s advice, including notes on campus works and event routing. Those details can change between shows, so read them for your own date rather than relying on an earlier visit.

On the way home, expect a large crowd to leave at once, particularly if the main event finishes late. Decide whether you will walk to a stop immediately or give the crowd time to thin. Whichever you choose, confirm the final services that fit your plan before you travel.

Check the upcoming fights list for dates before you book travel.

How boxing fills the room

Boxing places the ring in the middle of the floor, with seating on the floor and in tiers around it. The official event plan is the only reliable guide. Concert maps or pictures from another show can mislead because the stage, ring and camera positions all change the geometry of the room.

For a modern arena with steep tiers, upper seats can still feel close, but they are a long way from the ring. If you want to read footwork and ring craft, a good raised view can be satisfying. If you want sound and sweat, the lower blocks provide more intensity.

Official buying and sensible caution

Use the arena’s website and the promoter’s links to find the ticket seller for an event. We do not provide prices, because they depend on the show, seat and demand at the time. Read the terms, including fees and delivery, before paying and keep the confirmation email.

Access and comfort

Disabled customers should contact the venue or its ticket partner about access seating, companion tickets and the route from arrival to the entrance. Because the campus is large, ask about step-free routes and drop-off arrangements as well as the seat itself.

For all visitors, read the event conditions on bags, re-entry and ID. A large arena can have long security lines on a popular night. Arriving a little earlier helps, and so does having your ticket ready on your phone with enough battery to display it.

Value and the wider cost of the night

At a newer arena the seat categories can be detailed, with different rows and blocks priced accordingly. Look carefully at what each category offers rather than choosing the middle option by default. A modest seat with a clean view often beats a pricier position that sits near an equipment area.

Remember the journey, food and a possible overnight stay when you set a budget. If you are travelling from elsewhere in the UK, rail fares and hotel rooms can exceed the ticket price. Planning the whole night makes the purchase decision calmer.

Fight-night timing

Check the official door time and the promoter’s plan for the bill. A main event often arrives late in the evening, but running orders change. If you want to see an early bout, make sure your journey can handle a buffer for delays, and tell anyone meeting you where to find you.

Campus works or other events nearby may affect traffic and walking routes. Look at the official notes close to the event date, and avoid trusting a map that does not show the current arrangements around the venue.

The last checks

Make sure your ticket names Co-op Live, not AO Arena, and that the date and event title match your plan. If you are choosing between Manchester venues, read the AO Arena page for the city-centre option and the Liverpool and Sheffield pages for nearby alternatives.

Finally, keep official channels in view for changes to the bill, door times or entrances. A rearranged card is not unusual in boxing, and an early check can prevent a wasted journey.

Understanding the campus

The Etihad Campus is a large complex, with several buildings and a wider regeneration area around it. Your ticket should identify the arena, but signs, car parks and bus stops may be shared. Look at the official map before you travel so you can distinguish one entrance from another.

Works around a campus can change walking routes from one month to the next. Check the arena’s getting-here page near your date and be ready to follow stewards, particularly if a route you saw online has been closed or redirected.
